There's no place like home for Goreville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They really took it to the Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes for the full four quarters, racking up an 81-44 win. The Blackcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 22 points or more this season.

River Freeman and Lucas Rogers certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Freeman went 9 of 18 on his way to 23 points and five boards, while Rogers went 5 for 11 en route to 14 points and eight rebounds. Rogers has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last five times he's played.

Goreville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season. As for Zeigler-Royalton, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-20.

Looking ahead, Goreville won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Gallatin County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Goreville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 23 contests -- so hopefully Gallatin County likes a good challenge. As for Zeigler-Royalton, they will head out to take on Galatia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
