Basketball Recap: Middle Creek Starts Season with Victory on the Road + How To Watch

Middle Creek had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the J.F. Webb Warriors 62-37 on Tuesday. The Mustangs pushed the score to 52-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors had little chance of recovering from.

Middle Creek was led to victory by Brittain Queen and George Daniels. Queen posted 22 points and five steals, while Daniels put up 15 points and eight assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Shaffer, who earned six points and five rebounds.

Looking ahead, Middle Creek will square off against Corinth Holders at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for J.F. Webb, they will challenge Vance County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
