The Greenfield Bruins will be playing in front of their home fans against the Gonzales Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gonzales took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Greenfield, who comes in off a win.
Even though Greenfield has not done well against the Aztecs recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Greenfield walked away with a 50-42 win over the Aztecs. The victory was just what Greenfield needed coming off of a 56-34 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Gonzales suffered a tough 74-53 defeat at the hands of the Mustangs on Wednesday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Gonzales in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost three in a row.
Greenfield's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Gonzales, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.
