Volleyball Recap: Burton Comes Up Short

Burton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Jefferson Grizzlies. The Pumas were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Grizzlies earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 18-25, 25-16, 25-17.

Burton now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Jefferson, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-10.

Burton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson, they will challenge Capuchino at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Grizzlies are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
