Perhaps the best among them was Tre' Walker, who rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 85 yards and a touchdown while completing 73.3% of his passes. Walker's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Devon Addison got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Ferndale came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Timberline 42-14 at home. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Ferndale just coasted through the last quarter.
Mount Tahoma's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.7 points per game. As for Ferndale, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
