Softball Recap: Hebbronville's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Hebbronville made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Del Rio, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Hebbronville Longhorns blew past the Del Rio Rams 10-2 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Longhorns, who have now won four matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

With the win, Hebbronville broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-4. As for Del Rio, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Hebbronville will face off against Poth at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The last three games Poth has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Del Rio, they will square off against Alice at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Alice has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.21 runs per game on average), something Del Rio will no doubt try to take advantage of.
