Volleyball Recap: Springer Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Springer can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue on Friday. The Red Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blue/Lady Blue earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Brenna Duran paced Springer's offense, picking up 13 kills. Duran got some help from Abigail Eppler and her 26 assists.

Springer's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Roy/Mosquero, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Springer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roy/Mosquero, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Quemado on the 14th.
