Baseball Recap: Hialeah Educational Academy Comes Up Short

Hialeah Educational Academy and Westminster Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Hialeah Educational Academy had to settle for second. They came up short against the Lions, falling 7-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bulldogs haven't been shut out since back in March.

Hialeah Educational Academy got a good showing from Derek Morales, who tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, Morales gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2025.
