Basketball Recap: Mount Union Takes a Loss

Mount Union was the 52-37 winner over Northern Bedford County when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mount Union Trojans fell to the Northern Bedford County Panthers 45-40.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northern Bedford County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Wesley Horsh, who posted ten points in addition to five assists and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Eckenroad, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

Mount Union's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Northern Bedford County, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-14.

Mount Union has already played their next matchup (against Bald Eagle Area), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Northern Bedford County will face off against Southern Fulton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
