Softball Recap: Orosi Cardinals vs. Summit Charter Collegiate Academy Bears

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Farmersville, Orosi was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Summit Charter Collegiate Academy Bears 17-10. The win was some much needed relief for the Cardinals as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Miah Lopez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and nine unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.
