Softball Recap: Frostproof Takes a Loss

Frostproof fell victim to George Jenkins and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 11-0 to the George Jenkins Eagles. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row.

Frostproof saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Brantley, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Frostproof's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for George Jenkins, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frostproof will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sebring at 6:30 p.m. on March 25th. George Jenkins also won't see the field for a while: their next matchup is against Fort Meade at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th.
