Football Game Preview: Arlington vs. Temescal Canyon

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Temescal Canyon. On Friday they will take on Arlington at 7:00 PM. The teams both have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses for Temescal Canyon and eight for Arlington.

Temescal Canyon ended up a good deal behind Notre Dame when they played last Friday, losing 21-37. Temescal Canyon got a solid performance out of senior Jaden Gomez, who punched in 2 rushing TDs and accumulated 117 passing yards; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 14-52, which was the final score in Arlington's tilt against Elsinore.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
