Baseball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison lost against Venture Academy last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Edison Vikings lost 11-4 to the Venture Academy Mustangs. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Charles Rose was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3. Rose is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Aaden Canela was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Edison now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Venture Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Edison wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-1 victory against Modesto Christian on the 1st. As for Venture Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-3 win against West on the 4th.
