After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calvary Christian, Palm Harbor University was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 34-7 victory over the Tarpon Springs Spongers. For the Hurricanes, this counts as revenge for the 14-10 win the Spongers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Ben Sathaporn was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 35 yards and three TDs. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024. Chris Estep was in the mix too, providing Palm Harbor University with one touchdown.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Palm Harbor University's defense and their five sacks. Leading the way was Michael Willock with four. Palm Harbor University received some extra help from Estep, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

The victory got Palm Harbor University back to even at 1-1. As for Tarpon Springs, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Looking ahead, Palm Harbor University will welcome Parrish Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tarpon Springs, they will head out to take on Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
