Softball Recap: Elizabethtown Takes a Loss

Elizabethtown has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.64 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ballard Bruins. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Bruins: they've now lost four in a row.

Elizabethtown saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maci Singleton, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Elizabethtown's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Ballard, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Elizabethtown nor Ballard have any future games scheduled.
