Basketball Recap: Purcell Takes a Loss

Purcell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 41-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elgin Owls. The game marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Purcell's record now sits at 5-8. As for Elgin, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

Purcell has already played their next contest, a 64-33 win against Byng on the 24th. As for Elgin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 73-45 defeat against Yukon on the 24th.
