Basketball Recap: IDEA North Mission Find Success

IDEA North Mission won the last time they faced IDEA Edinburg College Prep and things went their way on Wednesday too. IDEA North Mission came out on top against IDEA Edinburg College Prep by a score of 46-38. IDEA North Mission didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Several IDEA Edinburg College Prep players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Justin Sanchez, who went 5 for 9 en route to 12 points. Sanchez has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Gael Gama, who posted seven points.

IDEA North Mission's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for IDEA Edinburg College Prep, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-10.

When IDEA North Mission and IDEA Edinburg College Prep next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. IDEA North Mission will square off against Monte Alto and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, IDEA Edinburg College Prep will try to stop Vanguard Academy Rembrandt's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
