Basketball Recap: Brooke Point Falls Despite Big Games from Soleil Carolina and Chloe Williams

After flying high against Gar-Field on Thursday, Brooke Point came back down to earth. The Brooke Point Black Hawks fell 37-27 to the Mountain View Wildcats on Friday. The Black Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 48-39.

Brooke Point's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Chloe Williams, who posted eight points and six boards, and Soleil Carolina, who earned three points and four steals. Carolina has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Brooke Point has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Mountain View, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

Brooke Point wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 64-29 loss against Colonial Forge on the 4th. As for Mountain View, they have also already played their next game, a 41-27 defeat against Hylton on the 3rd.
