Football Game Preview: Davis Pirates vs. Ephrata Tigers

The Davis Pirates will take on the Ephrata Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Davis is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Davis came into this matchup off a tough 37-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of West Valley by a score of 29-26 on Friday.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Ephrata and East Valley had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Tigers had to suffer through a 49-14 loss at the hands of the Red Devils.

Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Ephrata, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Davis beat Ephrata 24-17 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
