Baseball Recap: Tracy Triumphs

While Tracy's victory against Kimball wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Tracy had just enough and edged out Kimball 7-6 on Wednesday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Brady Brown made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. He also allowed no hits, which is notable because Tracy is 3-1 when he allows at most two hits, but 4-5 otherwise. Brown was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Brown wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Malakai Jacobo, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. Jordan Alvarado also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Tracy now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Kimball, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Tracy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Kimball: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
