Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central). They claimed a resounding 63-36 victory over the Pana Panthers. Given the Bluejays' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Panthers are ranked 333rd), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win was the fourth in a row for PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central, bringing their record for this year to 11-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.8 points per game. As for Pana, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
