Soccer Recap: High Mowing Find Success

High Mowing sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Vermont Academy Wildcats on Sunday.

The win got High Mowing back to even at 1-1. As for Vermont Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. High Mowing will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Woodstock at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. This will be High Mowing's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Vermont Academy, they will challenge Tilton School at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Vermont Academy will be up against Tilton School's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.75 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
