Golden Valley had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They never let the Foothill Trojans onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The Bulldogs' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Anthony Munoz and Anthony Soto scored both of Golden Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Golden Valley pushed their record up to 11-5-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five matches. As for Foothill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8-4.
