Baseball Game Preview: West Lyon Wildcats vs. Sioux Central Rebels

The West Lyon Wildcats will square off against the Sioux Central Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. West Lyon's pitching crew has only allowed 1.1 runs per game this season, so Sioux Central's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

West Lyon is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Unity Christian just ended the team's ten-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Sioux Central sidestepped Western Christian for a 3-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rebels.

Sioux Central now has a winning record of 10-9. As for West Lyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-2.
