Baseball Recap: George Wythe Takes a Loss

George Wythe lost against Grayson County back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Maroons lost 15-4 to the Blue Devils.

Caden Golliher made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

George Wythe's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Grayson County, their record is now 6-4.

Coming up, George Wythe will head out to challenge Rural Retreat at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grayson County, they will be playing at home against Galax at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
