Recap: Camden County Wildcats vs. Lowndes Vikings
Even though The Camden County Wildcats have not done well against the Lowndes Vikings recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Camden County walked away with a 33-23 win over Lowndes. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Camden County also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Camden County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Parks Riendeau, who threw for 169 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes. Elyiss Williams also helped out with an impressive 116 receiving yards.
Lowndes' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Marvis Parrish, who threw for 167 yards and a touchdown. Jacarre' Fleming was another key contributor, rushing for 104 yards and a touchdown.
Camden County's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Lowndes, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Camden County will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Newton at 7:00 p.m. on November 11th. Lowndes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
