Basketball Game Preview: Reserve Mountaineers vs. Quemado Eagles

Reserve and Quemado are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but not for long. The Reserve Mountaineers will challenge the Quemado Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Wednesday, Reserve ended up a good deal behind Cliff and lost 62-46.

Meanwhile, Quemado entered their contest against Magdalena on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Quemado took a 40-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Magdalena.

Quemado suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 20-6. As for Reserve, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.

Reserve took a serious blow against Quemado in their previous meeting back in February, falling 55-22. Can Reserve avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
