Basketball Recap: Lee Academy Comes Up Short

Lee Academy and Andrew Jackson Academy squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Lee Academy had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors and fell 57-28. The match marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Andrew Jackson Academy found their leader in sophomore Hall Sease, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten boards. Sease is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Vashahd Schofield, who posted nine points and seven boards.

This is the second loss in a row for Lee Academy and nudges their season record down to 6-8. As for Andrew Jackson Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Lee Academy nor Andrew Jackson Academy have any future games scheduled.
