Timberline and Middleton are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Wolves will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Timberline is looking for their season's first win.

In Saturday's Canine Competition, Timberline didn't have enough. They lost 12-5 to Nampa on Saturday.

Breanna Duncan made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Meanwhile, Middleton never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They skirted past Emmett 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won five in a row.

Not much got past Libby Garcia, who gave up just a hit and racked up 17 Ks to keep Emmett off the board.

On the hitting side, Middleton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenadi Whitlow, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Whitlow has posted since back in March of 2025. Kendyl Chronister was another, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Middleton's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Timberline, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Timberline skirted past Middleton 3-1 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
