Basketball Recap: Chester County Comes Up Short

Chester County lost against McNairy Central back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chester County Eagles took a 44-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McNairy Central Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 256th, while the Bobcats are ranked 75th).

This is the second loss in a row for Chester County and nudges their season record down to 6-14. As for McNairy Central, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chester County will challenge Hardin County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McNairy Central, they are taking a road trip to take on Jackson North Side at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
