Basketball Recap: Morro Bay Comes Up Short

Morro Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 79-30 loss at the hands of the San Luis Obispo Tigers. The game marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Morro Bay's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for San Luis Obispo, they pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morro Bay will take on Nipomo at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for San Luis Obispo, they will square off against St. Joseph at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
