Basketball Recap: San Saba Wins Going Away Against Rocksprings

The third road match was the charm for San Saba, as they earned their first road win of the season. They strolled past the Rocksprings Angoras with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 51-36.

Rocksprings lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Dwayne Rivera, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Taylor, who earned nine points and seven rebounds.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-6. As for Rocksprings, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

San Saba will venture away from home to challenge Center Point at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rocksprings, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Comstock at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
