Basketball Recap: North Harrison Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when North Harrison took on Corydon Central on Friday. The North Harrison Cougars had to suffer through a 59-26 loss at the hands of the Corydon Central Panthers. The Cougars have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Corydon Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was T-Mac Wilkinson out in front who went 8 of 12 en route to 22 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. That's the most points Wilkinson has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Fessel, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 15 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

North Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Corydon Central, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

North Harrison has already played their next matchup, a 65-42 defeat against Heritage Hills on the 10th. As for Corydon Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-57 win against Madison on the 7th.
