Baseball Recap: Greater New Bedford RVT's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Greater New Bedford RVT hadn't beaten Case on the road since May 21, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Bears walked away with a 5-2 win over the Cardinals. For the Bears, this counts as revenge for the 7-6 victory the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Fabien Garcia was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season. Another player making a difference was Logan Rego, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

As for Case, they will venture away from home to take on Bourne at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. The Cardinals are facing the Canalmen at the right time seeing as the Canalmen are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
