Soccer Game Preview: Richmond vs. Almont

The Richmond Blue Devils will challenge the Almont Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Richmond will be strutting in after a victory while Almont will be coming in after a defeat.

Richmond will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Imlay City on Friday. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 5-1 win. The victory continues a trend for Richmond in their matchups with Imlay City: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Almont was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against Notre Dame Prep, falling 8-0.

Almont now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Richmond, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.
