Soccer Recap: Eustis Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Eustis and Mount Dora squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Eustis had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Mount Dora Hurricanes by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Eustis' defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-2. As for Mount Dora, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6-1 record this season.

Eustis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mount Dora, they will take on Bishop Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Dora is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.
