First Baptist Academy waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 44-34 win over Westfair Christian. This was a revenge game for First Baptist Academy: when they faced off against Westfair Christian back in December of 2024, they had to take a 39-21 loss.

Several Westfair Christian players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Griffin Prevett, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Prevett is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last 11 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Greyson Prevett, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards.

First Baptist Academy pushed their record up to 10-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Westfair Christian, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-3.
