Football Recap: Master's Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Oxbridge Academy last Friday, Master's Academy came back down to earth. The Patriots were beaten by the Central Florida Christian Academy Eagles 47-14 on Friday.

Central Florida Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gavin Pritzkau, who threw for 345 yards and six TDs. Jahmari Hammonds was another key rusher, rushing for 140 yards and one score while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.

Master's Academy dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Central Florida Christian Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Master's Academy will head out to square off against Foundation Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Florida Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Cornerstone Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Ducks' defense has only allowed 14.3 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
