Football Recap: Rotan Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Rotan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Ira Bulldogs 56-6. The Yellowhammers were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Rotan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Ira, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Rotan will venture away from home to take on Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Yellowhammers will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.63 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ira, they will head out to square off against Hermleigh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
