With a playoff win on the line, Butler rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 66-42 margin over the Laney Wildcats. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Butler to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rania Curry, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Brayla Harris, who to rack up 20 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Butler pushed their record up to 19-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.7 points over those games. As for Laney, they now have a losing record of 13-14.

Butler has already played their next contest, a 42-36 loss against Josey on the 21st. Laney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
