Basketball Game Preview: Early Panthers vs. Marionville Comets

The Early Panthers will square off against the Marionville Comets at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, Early came up short against New Covenant Academy and fell 63-55. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Marionville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 70-55 to Clever. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 440th, while the Blue Jays are ranked 208th).

Marionville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Early, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
