Softball Recap: Madison Central Falls to Clinton County in First Game of Season

Madison Central kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 8-5 to the Clinton County Bulldogs.

Madison Central saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katie Johnson, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Clinton County's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Madison Central will head out on the road to face off against Lexington Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Clinton County, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Edmonson County at 6:00 p.m.
