Basketball Recap: Legacy Academy Comes Up Short

The Legacy Academy Silverbacks came up short against the Dulce Hawks on Saturday, falling 64-39.

Despite the defeat, Legacy Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Eden Griffis dropped a double-double with 21 points and 14 boards. Bella Luna was another key player, putting up four points and six rebounds.

Legacy Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dulce, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Legacy Academy will take on Grady in a tournament on Thursday. As for Dulce, they will welcome Monte Del Sol Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
