While LaSalle-Peru put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Sycamore. The Cavaliers walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Spartans. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 4-0 victory on Wednesday.

LaSalle-Peru is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Sycamore, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6.
