Basketball Recap: Columbia River Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

Columbia River had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 53-32 margin over the Washougal Panthers. The Rapids have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Columbia River's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.1 points. As for Washougal, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Coming up, Columbia River will host Black Hills at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. Black Hills will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Columbia River surely won't give up without a fight. Washougal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
