Basketball Game Preview: Vidalia Indians vs. Swainsboro Tigers + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Vidalia will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out on the road to square off against the Swainsboro Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Vidalia is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

On Thursday, Vidalia strolled past Providence Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 60-46.

Meanwhile, Swainsboro didn't have too much trouble with Jenkins on Saturday as they won 68-54. The Tigers pushed the score to 56-33 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors cut but never quite recovered from.

Vidalia better keep an eye on Shannon Benjamin. He was instrumental in Swainsboro's win, going 9-for-20 to rack up 22 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. Another player making a difference was Lj Morgan, who posted 21 points and three steals.

Swainsboro now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Vidalia, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Vidalia was able to grind out a solid victory over Swainsboro when the teams last played back in January, winning 62-51. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
