There's no place like home for Southeastern, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They blew past the Unioto Shermans 11-1 on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their one-run performance the game before.

Kylie Williams was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Gracie Brown was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Lydia Williams, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and one triple.

Southeastern kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 9.6.

Southeastern's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-6. As for Unioto, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
