Baseball Recap: Fortuna Huskies vs. Del Norte Warriors

Fortuna had lost eight straight at home, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 3-11 to make it nine. They lost 11-1 to the Del Norte Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 on Saturday.

Fortuna saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mariqus Ludd, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

As for Del Norte, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games.
