Softball Recap: New Rochelle Comes Up Short

If New Rochelle was riding high fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Scarsdale last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Huguenots fell just short of the Mamaroneck Tigers by a score of 6-4 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Huguenots have suffered since April 27, 2024.

New Rochelle's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Mamaroneck, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

New Rochelle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mamaroneck, they have already played their next game, a 10-6 victory against Ossining on the 15th.
