Emery Diaz was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 20 batters over ten innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one stolen base and one double.

In other batting news, Samantha Reyes made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
